What is CMS?

The modern medical examinations, like ultrasound, computerized cat scan and magnetical ressonance, generate a lot of images used to realize findings. The Cyclops Medical Station was born from thenecessity of a light and low-cost software, which would aid brazilian clinics, hospitals and physicians, to visualize those images. With it is possible to visualise and edit a great variety of radiologycal examinations, with the ones cited previously between them. The CMS has tools designed aiming at the best possible reports, demanding a minor effort from the medic, making then possible in a fast and accurate way.

Tools like the room of decision and the mailer aim at communication and agility for the medic and his co-workers. The room of decision allows a team to realize in real time the finding of a examination, through the Internet, and the mailer makes easier to spread the results to the interested part in a fast and standardized way.

The CMS is also a tool to access image repositories, increasing its utility to clinics and hospitals. Thus, an examination taken in a hospital can be accessed minutes after its realization, by the requesting physician, in his own surgery using the CMS.

All CMS tools were designed using the international standard DICOM 3.0, making communication with existing software and equipment in compliance with this standard.

The CMS is a light software, allowing its instalation on old computers with no loss of performance. It also has an ergonomic interface, making its use a plesant experience.
